Per House Bill 1521 Contractors administering the Driver Improvement Program courses are allowed to set their own fee for testing up to $45.00, of which the state receives a $5.00 administrative fee. Differences in pricing are not the responsibility of the State unless fees are charged in excess of $45.00."
